Making a claim
Claims can be made via the following link: Contact form.
Large claims will usually involve a dedicated claims expert. Together with you, he or she will consider the extent of the claim and the compensation available. Naturally you will be notified if a claims expert is required. It is essential in such cases that none of the damaged items are repaired, restored or disposed of prior to the assessment having taken place. This will allow the expert to make the best possible assessment of the damages incurred.
Applicable evidence
- Purchase invoices
- Repair invoices
- Copies of official police reports
- One's own photos of the incident
- Witness statements (see the form: Witness statement)
Tips for making a claim
Make your claim without delay. The longer you wait, the greater the risk of your claim being refused. Your policy terms and conditions specify the maximum permissible delay.
Do not delay in posting all applicable supporting evidence that could help process your claim. Originals should be sent where possible.
Ask any witnesses to complete and sign a witness statement (see the form:. Witness statement).
